Buying electrical leads: compare enquiry scope with your services
Assess how electrical enquiries fit your services in Germany. Distinguish project type, requested scope and technical clarification before buying leads.
Electrical enquiries can connect you with people planning electrical work and looking for a quotation. Before buying, consider the breadth of your offer: do you handle complete installations, defined upgrades or mainly new energy equipment? This comparison helps you assess what new contacts from Germany could contribute to your business.
Read project type and scope together
An enquiry gives the project type, intended scope and planning stage, plus building location and contact details. Projects may involve a new build, modernisation, an individual area or inspection and assessment. Scope adds a direction: complete installation, distribution board or meter position, EV charging or solar PV, or still undecided.
These details answer different questions. “Modernisation” describes the reason for the enquiry. “Distribution board or meter position” indicates its intended focus. Your business can recognise which of its services might be relevant to the conversation. The full work scope has yet to be agreed.
Decide how broad an offer you want to support
One illustrative business handles complete installations and selected work on existing buildings. A mix of project types may interest it because it offers services for several starting points. Before buying, it decides who assesses larger projects and who handles defined jobs. New contacts can then be dealt with internally without unnecessary handovers.
A second example business focuses on EV chargers and solar PV. These interests appear in the enquiry details. However, the electrical installation category also covers other requirements. The business should decide whether it wants to handle that broader intake. A listed specialism does not promise that every delivered enquiry will concern it.
A small service matrix for your buying decision
Record three sets of responsibilities for your team:
- Complete installation: What can you provide, and who assesses a comprehensive project?
- Individual area, distribution board or meter position: Which of these jobs actually belong to your service offering?
- EV charging or solar PV: Which advice and installation do you provide yourself, and where must you discuss the scope first?
This overview describes your capabilities. It is not a technical assessment of an installation. Plans, circuit details and measurements are not collected with the enquiry; you establish the available documents and existing installation afterwards. “Implementation approaching” does not confirm a technically assessed job either.
Start with an appropriate buying framework
At webRichtung you choose the industry, area, delivery option and monthly limit. Select Germany nationwide or a German postcode with a radius of at least 50 km. Project type, scope and planning stage are not ordering filters. Use your service matrix to decide about buying and to assess incoming contacts yourself.
webRichtung sends standard enquiries to no more than three providers and exclusive enquiries to just one. The monthly limit caps regular deliveries per calendar month; it does not guarantee a volume.

Frequently asked questions
Which electrical projects are described?
New builds, modernisation, individual areas, and inspection and assessment identify the starting points. The requested scope is recorded separately.
Can I select only EV charger enquiries?
No. Requested scope is enquiry information, not an ordering filter. You choose the industry, area, delivery option and monthly limit.
Are technical documents included in the lead?
Installation plans, circuit details and technical measurements are not collected. Your business establishes the available documents and actual installation itself.
