ECC study: Product descriptions are the most important single criterion

In its study “Success factors in e-commerce – Germany’s top online shops Vol. 2″ examines which factors are particularly important for users of online shops.

In the following diagram you will find the graphical evaluation of an internet-representative population survey (> 10,000 consumers aged 16 and over in Germany).

You can see in the diagram that detailed and informative product descriptions are the most important criterion. If you add up the values for “absolutely important”, “very important” and “partly important” %. get 96.2%.

This means that 96.2% of the consumers surveyed rated detailed and informative product descriptions as positive.
